Police Narrative:

On 02/12/07 at 18:30 hours, officer(s) Lacey V () and Thomas R (5717) responded to a Simple Assault/DV at 1137 Whitaker and suspect advised officers that she and her live-in boyfriend had a verbal altercation that turned physical. suspect advised officers she was in the bedroom listening to the radio when suspect came in trying to talk to her, but she didnt want to talk. suspect stated suspect then threw a pot at her hitting her in the face. suspect then stated when she tried to walk away suspect began following her around and pushed her. suspect stated she the grabbed a bat but suspect took it from her at which time suspect stated she pulled a knife to defend herself. suspect stated then suspect pulled out a gun to defend himself. suspect stated thats when she called the police. suspect advised officers that he and his girlfriend were arguing because he didnt answer his cell phone when suspect called him. suspect stated while arguing with suspect he slapped the pots across the table and the pot accidently hit her. suspect stated suspect grabbed a knife and he took it from her and then suspect grabbed a bat and suspect stated he took the bat from suspect. suspect then advised that suspect pulled a pocket knife and tried to stick him. suspect stated at that point he told suspect if she stuck him with that knife he would hit her with the bat to defend himself. suspect stated he never pulled a gun on suspect. Officers observed no injuries on suspect nor suspect. Due to conflicting stories officers couldnt determine the primary aggressor. suspect and suspect were advised and completed a Domestic Hold Harmless Form and given a Victim Right Form. suspect lefted the scene with his mother and advised he will be staying there for a few days.
