Police Narrative:
On 02/09/07 at 23:13 hours, officer(s) Gray () responded to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at Stribling /dunn and the Reporting Officer advised a/os were at dunn/getwell and they observed Veh #1: FORD /98 ford taurus green vin# 1fafp52u5wa145384 with a counterfeit tn temporary tag. No tint on the windows of the Veh #1: FORD. victimWilliams was the driver and victimSims was front passenger. Neither suspect was wearing a seat belt. Veh #1: FORD then turned s/b stribling without giving a signal. Traffic stop made at dunn/stribling. A/os observed 2 blunts in the ash tray. A/os observed the strong oder of marijuana in the vehicle and on both suspects person. victimSims had red, sleepy eyes , and a slow response to questions asked of her. victimSims did not have an I. D. The tn temporary tag was lighter green than normal, smaller border than normal , border with uneven edges, fuzzy tn seals, fuzzy barcode, issue blocks were not punched , and r#r411108. The tag read it was issued at thomas auto sales on 3078 beaver creek. victimWilliams refused the rights waiver. The Veh #1: FORD was towed to the city's lot. Neither suspect claimed the blunts. A/os found a clear plastic baggie of marijuana in victimWilliams right front pocket. victimWilliams did not have proof of insurance. victimSims after being placed under arrest started cursing a/os stating "this is fucked up!". victimSims refused to calm down and she continued yelling causing residents to come from their apts to see the disturbance. victimSims was transported to jai east and victimWilliams was transported to 201 poplar. A/os recovered the blunts from the ash tray, and some marijuana seeds from a blunt wrapper laying in the front floorboard between the front seats. The marijuana tested positive for thc with the baggie weighing an approximate 2. 1 tgw and the blunts with marijuana seeds an approximate 1. 3 tgw. All evidence was tagged at pe by lt. Mccord 5623.
