Police Narrative:
On 02/09/07 at 20:51 hours, officer(s) Knight () and Grafenreed () responded to a Drugs/Narcotics Violation/Felony at Winchester / Dogwood and the Reporting Officer advised That the arresting officers observed victimStephens driving the listed vehicle without any headlights. victimSavare was sitting in the front passengers seat. A/Os stopped the vehicle. When officers approached the vehicle they smelled a strong odor of burned marijuana. Both suspects were asked to exit the vehicle. Both suspects stated that they just smoked some marijuana.. Officers found a blue glass pipe with burned marijuana in it and a small plastic bag with marijuana residue sitting in the middle of the front seat. Search incident to arrest revealed a .38 cal. revolver (smith & wesson, 3 live rounds, 3 spent rounds) and an aerosol can (rust curb) with a false bottom in the glove box. Inside the aerosol can was a plastic bag which contained 11 smaller bags of marijuana. The vehicle was towed by Davenports to the city lot. Both suspects were transported to 201 Poplar. All the property was tagged. Lt. Peperone 207c made the scene and advised.
