Police Narrative:
On 02/08/07 at 22:31 hours, officer(s) Grigsby () responded to a Traffic violation at 469 Shelby drive and the Reporting Officer advised A/O on 2/8/07 at approximately 2220 hrs observed Sus: Rawls driving green Cadillac VIN# 1G6ET1299TU609330 E/B Shelby at Hodge with Sus: Johnson as front seat passenger. Vehicle tags TN 495 FMX were displayed in the rear window and when checked showed to belong on a Buick. Vehicle stop initiated and Sus: Rawls provided TN I.D. only which showed to be revoked D.L. Sus: Rawls was placed in custody. A/O approached passenger window and asked Sus: Johnson if he had anything on his person officers should know about. Sus: Johnson advised he had a little weed in his pocket. A/O retrieved from Sus: Johnsons left breast pocket 10.1 TGW marijuana. Sus: Johnson was placed in custody and searched. A/O located in Sus: Johnson right jacket pocket a bottle of cough syrup w/ codein in presciption bottle. Sus: Johnson stated "That's not mine, I was just taking it to somebody". This lead officers to believe he intended to deliver the syrup. A/O also located on Sus: Johnson's person a blunt roller. Marijuana syrup and blunt roll tagged at P&E. Marijuana tested positive for THC weighing 10.1 TGW. Sus: Rawls drivins history showed to be extensive with several failures to satisfy citations and driving on revoked. Sus: Rawls and Sus: Johnson were transported to 201 Poplar.
