Police Narrative:
On 02/08/07 at 21:48 hours, officer(s) Smith (1336) and Harper j (3382) responded to a Drugs/Narcotics Violation/Misdemeanor at Austin peay at stage and the Reporting Officer advised a/O working task force observed several m/bs standing on the bussiness lot at austin peay at stage. Upon approaching the crowd were directed to exit the lot. A/O then noticed def, standing outside a vehicle on the lot, he were bending and as if searching for something. Def were questioned if everything was alright, and he advised that he couldnt find his keys. Def were asked for his I’D, and upon checking def was found to have a warrant #061216bf out of hernando ms. Upon search incident to arrest officer removed a clear plastic bag with a green leaf like substance inside appearing to be marijuana. Inside the bag were eight small individually wrapped bags with the same green substance inside of each small wrapped bag. The substance tested positive for marijuana with 29. 1twg. Def transported to 201 poplar and property tagged in property and evidence along with cash of $96. 00 room.
