Police Narrative:
On 02/02/07 at 10:05 hours, officer(s) Smith, W. (8635) and Mize, E. (5675) responded to a Simple Assault/DV at 1663 Duke and victim advised She and her boyfriend, suspect Henderson became involved in a verbal altercation where he accused her of bein unfaithful. The victim adv the situation escalated when the suspect punched her with his right fist on the left side of her face. The suspect adv there was only a verbal argument regarding her promiscuity and denied striking the victim. There was no signs of a struggle in the residence and the victim had no redness or swelling on her face, nor were there any other signs of an altercation. The victim signed a Hold Harmless and refused transportation and a ride to obtain a warrant and she advised she would obtain a warrant on her own. The suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrsnt from Bartlett PD for failure to pay fines and was transported to Garden Ridge parking lot at 5280 Summer ave where he was handed over to Bartlett PD. The hold harmless was submitted accordingly.s
