Police Narrative:
On 02/04/07 at 20:45 hours, officer(s) Henderson, R. (S7555) responded to a Traffic stop at Espie cv/ Long creek and the Reporting Officer advised Officer stopped the listed vehicle for possibly casing houses under constitution in the area of long creek and shelby and found Sus: Thompson to be the driver. Officer asked Sus: Thompson for his license and Sus: Thompson presented a misdemeanor citation and a TN. I’d. officer checked the I’d through NCIC and found Sus: Thompsons license to be suspended on 07-03-1996 for failure to satisfy citation. Officer asked Sus: Thompson to exit the vehicle and upon exiting the vehicle Sus: Thompson nearly fell to the ground. Officer could smell a strong odor of intoxicants upon Sus: Thompsons person, and his eyes were bloodshot and watery. Officer assisted Sus: Thompson to the rear of the patrol unit and sat him in the back seat. Upon checking the vehicle officer noticed an open can of Mille beer. Officer requested a whiskey unit and W-34 made the scene to administer the BAC test. Sus: Thompson refused a BAC test and was placed under arrest and transported to 201 poplar.
