Police Narrative:
On 11/08/06 at 22:01 hours, officer(s) Bush, M () and McCord (5623) responded to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at Knight Arnold//Fox Gate and the Reporting Officer advised on 11/08/2006 Ofcs were in the area of Knight Arnold//Hickory Hill and observed a White Cadillic Seville, temp tag VIN 1G6KY54913U104715, traveling W/B on Knight Arnold and the driver, Suspect Johnson, was not wearing a seatbelt. McCord (5623) initiated a traffic stop at Knight Arnold//Fox Gate. As A/O approached the vehicle he observed that the TN Temp Tag was a forgery; R411108 the State Seals on the front were blurry, the date was not punched out, the edges were cut short, the State Seal on the back was fuzzy and very faint and the tag itself was pixelated. McCord had stopped a vehicle earlier with the same serial number (R&I ). A/O asked the driver for her license and she advlsed that she didnt have one it was suspended. McCord had Suspect Johnson, who was on the phone with Suspect Warren, to exit the vehicle. At which point A/0 noticed a bulge in Suspect Johnsons front right pants pocket and asked "whats in your pocket?" To which Suspect replied "Dope". Ofc Bush () recovered 4. 0 TGW of a green leafy substance, that tested positive for marijuana, out of Suspect Johnsons pocket. Suspects information was run on Sta. B, who advlsed that her TN DL was revoked on 08/22/2006 for DUI. Suspect Johnson was arrested and transported to Jail-East.While Ofcs were dealing with Suspect Johnson Suspect Warren made the scene, driving a 98 Cadillic DeVille, TN temp tag VIN 1G6KD54Y1XU792207. Suspect Warren asked Ofcs what was going on and was advlsed that Suspect Johnsons vehicle had a bad tag on it. At which point Suspect Warren stated "Thats my car and thats the tag that belongs on it. I put it on there. " While Suspect Warren was talking Ofcs observed that the TN temp tag on his vehicle (R460351) was filled out for a 2003 Cadillic Seville(Suspects vehicle is a 98) , the date was not punched out and the VIN matched the VIN of the 02 Cadillic that Suspect Johnson was driving. Suspect Warren was arrested and transported to 201 Poplar. The tags and marijuana was tagged at 201 Poplar P&E room by Ofc Aylor ().
