Police Narrative:
On 11/03/06 at 23:10 hours, officer(s) D. Flynn (2499) and C. Moore (1710) responded to a Simple Assault/DV at 4533 Sunnyslope and victim advised that her live-in boyfriend and father of their (8) year old daughter, Faithe Alton, came home from being out of town after (1) week and started disciplining their daughter for things that had happened at school. suspect made their daughter sit on the cold floor and would not let her pull her pants up. suspect was upset that the lights in the house were off for the last two days and they had just gotten them back on today. victim thought that suspect was being unduly harsh on their daughter and when she tried to intervene suspect grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the back wall telling her not to get in his business. victim was able to get away and called MPD. suspect admitted to Officers that he had choked her. suspect was arrested for domestic violence assault and transported to 201 Poplar Ave. victim signed a hold harmless and was advised.
